Police arrests absconder after five yrs 3/4/2016 10:24:37 PM Ramban, Mar 04: Continuing its drive against absconders and other anti social elements, a special team of District Police Ramban constituted to arrest absconders today claimed to have apprehended one absconder who was evading its arrest for the last five years. Police said, "The accused/absconder has been identified as Yashpal Singh s/o Dina Nath of Rajbagh District Kathua. "On specific information about the movement of the above mentioned accused involved in Case FIR No: 37/2011 u/s 279/337 RPC asn was absconding his arrest, a police team was rushed to his hide out, police said. Police said that a team led by Station House Officer (SHO) Ramsoo, Mohammad Ameen under the supervision of SDPO Banihal Mohd Rafiq and SSP Ramban Randeep Kumar, conducted the raid and secured the arrest of accused.
