| Scientists interact with Rajmash growers | | |  Early Times Report
Kishtwar, Mar 4: A team comprising of scientists of RHRSS Bhaderwah Dr. Rohit Sharma and D.K. Chauhan, along with Rohit Gupta and Arif Khursheed, AEOs of Kishtwar district, in their visit to Keshwan area in Kishtwar district interacted with the farmers involved in Rajmash cultivation and suggested various cultural practices for its improvement.
The scientists along with Dr. Mahital Jamwal, Incharge RHRSS Bhaderwah and Arif Khursheed, AEO of Kishtwar district also visited Bounjwah area, wherein the feedback from the farmers was collected about Rajmash cultivation in their region.
Sunil Kapahi, Chief Agriculture Officer Kishtwar, had deputed his officials along with the scientists of SKUAST-J for assisting the job of exploring the cultivation of quality Rajmash in Kishtwar district.
The scientists of RHRSS, SKUAST-J are also working on quality improvement of Bhaderwahi Rajmash on PPP mode. The other potential areas will also be taken up under survey for exploring the cultivation of quality Rajmash under PPP mode. |
