SDRF performs mock drill in GGM Science College 3/5/2016 12:21:28 AM Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 4 : A mock drill exercise was organized by the team of SDRF in collaboration with civil defence movement in GGM Science College today. This exercise was the continuation of five days civil defence training programme for NSS volunteers and NCC Cadets being organized by GGM Science College, Jammu in collaboration with civil defence department, J&K under the overall supervision of Dr. Rajinder Singh, NSS Programme Officer of the college. The programme started with the expert lecture by Tejinder Kour, Deputy Controller Civil Defence on various methods by which the students can contribute during the times of natural disasters and accidents. During the mock drill exercise various emergency rescue methods were demonstrated by the team of SDRF and members of Civil Defence before the volunteers. The principal of the college Dr. Ajeet Angral thanked the civil defence officials and SDRF team for giving such kind of training to our students Sh. Paramjeet Kumar , Chief Warden Civil Defence, R. Vijay Magotra, Dy. Divisional Warden, Thakur Ranjeet Singh Post Warden alongwith few faculty members were also present during the mock exercise.
