CUJ inks MOU with CBR Banglore 3/5/2016 12:21:40 AM Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 4 : The Central University of Jammu entered into a MOU with Community Based Rehabilitation Network (CBR), Bangalore to offer and run online courses for training and capacity building in the field of education and care of the person with diverse needs. This is an landmark inititative on the part of Central University of Jammu for facilitating the inclusive growth of the region. The MoU signed by Dr. Indumathi Rao, Director, CBR Network and the Registrar, Central University of Jammu in the presence of Prof. Ashok Aima, Vice Chancellor CUJ. The MoU envisions nine types of certificate courses to be provided online using E-learning and M-learning platforms. These certificate courses are envisioned as add-on courses at under graduate (UG) level in educational institutions, stand alone courses for the people who are interested in the area of disability studies, and also as the capacity building programmes for the practitioners. The provision of online programme through study centers can cover even the remotest area of the State.
