GDC Khour organizes symposium 3/5/2016 12:22:45 AM Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 4 : A symposium on "Truth & Non-Violence" was organized at Govt Degree College (GDC) Khour. Invoking Mahatma Gandhi, Principal Dr. Asha Gupta Abrol urged the students to follow the ideals of non-violence in life. She elaborated upon the contribution and the role of youths towards promotion of world peace and urged to create such a society which honours everyone irrespective of one's caste , colour , culture or creed. Ten students of the college who participated in the symposium in which Ankita Khajuria B.A. Semester-II, Raveena Rani of B.A. Semester-IV, Priya of B.A. Semester-II claimed Ist, 2nd and 3rd positions respectively. The proceedings were conducted by Baljeet Kour (Lect. English) and Ashwani Bali . Vote of thanks was conveyed by Dr. Kuldeep Raj Sharma NSS Programme Officer.
