Labourers facing brunt, labour Deptt in slumber 3/21/2016 11:03:47 PM Early Times Report Poonch Mar 21: The local masses working as skilled and unskilled jobs in unorganized sector/ private/public set up are at loser's end courtesy the official at helms of affairs i.e. Labour Department utterly have failed to redress their issues. Some locals working in such a set up on the conditions anonymity alleged that the concerned department has failed to seek basic facilities to the labourers from their organizations. Many labourers alleged that the department/organizations have failed to provide full facilities to the labourers including to ensure their safety. "Though Centre has announced many schemes for welfare of labourers but in Poonch district officers announced their different regulations during their tenure which utterly have failed to come to the expectations of working force. A labourer Ghulam Rasool said that due to negligence of the concerned Labour Department, the labourers are put at loser's end.
