Influential eyeing prime location in GMC to set up shop 3/21/2016 11:19:22 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 21: Using power and money, the influential people are working over night to get prime location in the premises of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu to establish Medical Shop. However, the senior official of GMCH claimed that the space would be provided to establish medical shop which has been identified by the Committee. Pertinently, since the shop at GMCH Jammu dismantled, influential persons are leaving no stone unturned to appease politicians, bureaucrats as well as few officials of GMCH Jammu 'by hook or by crook'. Reliable Sources at GMCH told Early Times that the some influential persons, who have been related in these shops, are pressurizing administration of GMCH to s get 'prominent' space for opening Medical Shop in the hospital with the aim that no one patient's attendant visit outside for buying medicine and almost all patients' attendants visit their shop. "Influential persons are visiting former Ministers as well as higher bureaucrats of concerned residence to appease them and get prime location as their wish in the government premises, "they alleged and adding due to which, they all forcing administration to do so”. Sources further alleged that it seems there was something fishy as earlier on the directions of a politician, the higher ups of GMCH has made a committee and allotted space in GMCH and its associated hospitals in hurry and also asked to authority of concerned to allot space as soon as possible. "Shockingly, workers, of an influential and controversial pharmaceutical trader in Jammu charted out a detailed roadmap to reach out to their goal so that they are visiting hospitals these days and asking for speedy work so that they would able to run these shops as soon as possible, "they stated. Raising serious question on the intension of these workers, sources asked why are these workers continuing visit in offices of higher authority and asking for speedy work?
