O P Sharma Director Ecology Environment & Remote Sensing addressed villagers to spread environmental education among locals highlighting need to conserve,multiply and propagate native decorative cum medicinal trees like Kachnar, Sohanjana, Lasuda, Jiyopota, Parijat, Medda sak, Harad, Baheda, Amla, Goolar, Bael, Kamla,Marod phal, Phalsa, Barna, Reetha, Kakoha, Tinbru, Semal, Ber, Tatra, Padal, Sandan, Amaltas, Dhraink, Dhatki etc. Sarpanch Mathwar Ashok K Sharma while welcoming organizers appealed villagers to plant superior Raj harad saplings available with SKUAST at its Chatha campus.
