KSS demands Sikh representation in Govt

Jammu, Mar 28: The executive committee of Kashmir Sikh Sangat (KSS) urged upon the political set up of J&K who are due to form the cabinet, to consider a cabinet berth for a member of Sikh community from J&K.
The demand of Sikhs is long pending and the community has been deprived of their legitimate right of representation in the State Government and it is stressed that this is the right time that a member of Sikh Community be included in the cabinet and a right person is Charanjeet Singh Khalsa MLC who is the choice of the community.
The Organisation also strongly supports the long pending demand of community regarding constitution of minority commission of J&K State. The KSS is also organizing an annual convention of the organization on 4th April,2016 from 2PM to 5 PM at Jammu Club.
The members who were present in the press conference included S. Dhanwant Singh chairman of the organization, S.Sewa Singh President, S.Manjit Singh, K.N.Singh XEn (Retd.) K.N.Singh, T.P.Singh, Balbir Singh and JB Singh.
