BJP facing bankruptcy of state spokespersons…? One more falters once again……! 3/28/2016 11:56:38 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 28: J&K unit of BJP, it seems is facing bankruptcy of dynamic and self motivated state spokespersons who are required to handle the political issues and perspective of the party in a forceful manner with original ideas and expressions. As two of its spokespersons busied themselves in harsh talk over one issue against Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi last week , one more spokesperson faltered today in issuing a statement which is nothing but copy paste of what a national level woman leader of the party said on Sunday. BJP Mahila Morcha National President Vijaya Rahatkar while addressing women activists in Jammu on Sunday made a fervent appeal to the women activists of the party to serve as a bridge between the public and the government. She further said that "it is duty of each one of us to reach the masses and educate them about various schemes launched by Narendra Modi government for the welfare and social security of the women folk.". And then she dwelt at length in mentioning a plethora of schemes launched by Narender Modi led NDA government at centre for the welfare of general masses which she said needed to be taken to them. So far so good. However, it came as a shock today in the mail to see the statement issued by one Khalid Jehangir, Kashmir based spokesperson which was nothing but copy paste of the Mahila Morcha National President. Even the headline of the statement remained unchanged with the two statements which read with both as : 'Serve as a bridge between Public and government….'. In the statement mailed to media it was stated that he addressed party workers meeting in District Ganderbal at Batwani Ganderbal in which he highlighted the achievements of BJP in state and centre as well. One wonders why and how can the spokesperson can repeat and utter even word to word, verbatim of what national level leader uttered only a day ago. Whereas the state spokespersons are deemed as face of the party who are required to have not just complete and better understanding of the political issues but also need to possess original ideas and expressions to convey them in accordance with the perspective of the party. Is this only because they want to get good ratings that they say something just for the sake of saying or making statements….?
