RAMBAN, Mar 28: District Police Ramban organised an anti drug rally at Banihal.
The rally was organised by Mohd Rafiq, SDPO Banihal and Inspr. Nazir Ahmed Dar, SHO PS Banihal under the supervision of Randeep Kumar, SSP Ramban under Civic Action Programme charted by J&K Police Hqrs Jammu.
Children of various schools including Govt. Boys High Secondary School Banihal, Govt. Girls High School Banihal, Degree College Banihal and Islamic Madrassa Naima Banihal, participated in the rally, which started from Higher Secondary School Banihal and culminated at Tourist Dak Bunglow Banihal.
A good enthusiasm has been shown by the students whereas senior citizens of the society delivered lectures on drug abuse. A strong message was given to abstain the society from drug use. After the rally, refreshment was distributed among the students. |
