SDH Hiranagar celebrates “Laadli Diwas"

Kathua, Mar 28: Continuing day and night in spreading the awareness regarding "Beti Bachaao Beti Padhaao", a token of love and respect in the form of cheques of Rs 1000 were distributed among 10 girl childs who were fully immunized and healthy in Sub District Hospital Hiranagar.
Block Medical Officer Hiranagar Dr. Omkar Nath, Dr Sunil Kaila (Anaesthetic), Dr Subash (Child Specialist), Dr Guru Prasad Sharma, Parvesh Sharma, Ram Suresh Khajuria and other paramedical staff, ASHA workers were also present to celebrate "Laadli Diwas" Dr Omkar Nath told that its a matter of happiness that now people are getting much awared and they are understanding the value of girl child the same way as a boy child. Dr Guru emphasized upon to take maximum advantages of the Govt sponsored schemes for the upliftment of girls.
