Mendhar, Mar 28 : Police have arrested three miscreants after some unknown persons allegedly attacked a Village Level Worker (VLW) near his house here today. A case stands registered against the accused.
"The arrested accused have been identified as Tahir Ahmed a teacher, Mohd Naseer ReT teacher and Mohd Sadiq all residents of Mankote," police sources said. According to police sources, one Kulwant Singh S/o Gopal Singh of Mankote a RDD employee was today attacked by some miscreants outside his house over a tiff. "the victim was thrashed by them severely and also beat him to pulp, sources added.
Following a complaint from the family members of victim, then police have registered a case in this regard and acting swiftly effected arrest of three accused while four accused are stated to be absconding till last report came in," sources added.
Sources added that a case under FIR vide no: 35/2016 under sections 452/147/148 RPC stands registered at Police Station Mendhar while massive manhunt is on to nab the rest of absconding accused.
