BJP sold mandate of Jammu for power alone: Harsh
3/28/2016 11:46:21 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Mar 28 : Accusing the BJP of bartering away the pride and honour of people of Jammu region to satiate its lust for power, Harsh Dev Singh Chairman JKNPP and former Minister today made a forceful appeal to the Jammunites to oppose, expose and depose the Saffron Juggernaut for its demagoguery and sheer opportunism . He said that BJP which got overwhelming mandate from Jammu region on the slogan of demolishing the father-daughter Party (Baap-Beti Sarkar) fell flat before the PDP immediately after winning 25 seats from Jammu region and had now used the office of Prime Minister, Union Finance Minister and other central leaders to prevail upon the 'daughter' to assume the charge of Chief Minister so that its leaders could enjoy ministerial berths in her cabinet. He was addressing a huge public gathering in Satrairi, Majalta today. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the 10 months rule of BJP was a sordid tale of failures and betrayals with none of its elected representatives raking up the promised issues of Jammu region. He said that even at the present juncture, PDP was dictating terms for govt. formation despite the 'Agenda of Alliance' weighing heavily in favour of Kashmir. He said that with orders for vacation of land from Army by 31st of March from four significant places having already been issued, PDP was now preparing grounds for revocation of AFSPA in terms of the said CMP. Accusing BJP of having sold its every single slogan and its fundamentals for power, Harsh Dev Singh said that the Saffron Party had proved that lust knew no bars, no red lines.
