UDHAMPUR, Mar 28 : JK Public Higher Secondary School, celebrated Annual Prize Distribution Function in the School on Monday.
Pawan Kumar Gupta MLA Udhampur was the chief guest. Among other dignitaries present were the Principal, Kawal Bawa, the Managing Director Manender Singh Bawa, Parents and Students.
The programe commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the chief gust escorted by other dignitaries. Entailing the bouquet presentation and pinning of badges, the MD formally welcomed the eminent guest. This was followed by the cultural programme based on the theme "Save Ganga, save life" which commenced with a scintillating "Welcome Dance' The other cultural items were Bhangra, Gujrati folk Dance, free style danceand others. A 7th class student, Luxmi presented the condition of Ganga through a beautiful poetry while Ratish performed a solo dance performance. After the cultural programme, started the Prize distribution ceremony where the Chief Guest Pawan Kumar Gupta gave away prizes to the academically meritorious pupils of the school.
