Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 30: Describing the Agenda of Alliance as the election manifesto of PDP, a brigade of Panthers activists led by Harsh Dev Singh, Chairman of Panthers Party staged a protest demonstration at Exhibition Ground Jammu seeking review of CMP and incorporation of Jammu related issues in it, before the formation of the coalition government. According to press release, the protestors torched the copies of the "Agenda of Alliance" terming the dossier as anti-national and anti-Jammu. Inculpating Saffron party for creating political impasse in J&K for over two and a half months, Harsh Dev Singh accused BJP for keeping the State Assembly under suspended animation unconstitutionally for buying time to lure its ex-ally by unfair means. He said that Mehbooba Mufti's tantrums to take oath as Chief Minister at her whims and fancies clearly indicate that BJP was dancing to her tunes. He revealed that speculations were rife that she had dominated the BJP to concede her unwarranted demands of CBM's before forging a re-alliance. Taking a jibe at the BJP for its despicable surrenders before Mehbooba Mufti, Singh asked the BJP to review the CMP and assert on incorporating all the Jammu related matters in it. Reckoning that since the Saffron brigade had compromised with the National and regional interests to fulfill Kashmir aspirations, he cautioned the BJP to desist from disregarding the people of Jammu region to evade the brunt of Dogra outrage. He said that BJP must assert for rotational Chief Minister, Abrogation of article 370, Delimitation of Assembly constituencies, AIIMS and Smart city for Jammu which were the most coveted aspirations of the people. Prominent among those who were present on the occasion included Gagan Partap, Sham Gorkha, Chetan Sharma, K K Sharma, Nirmal Kishore, Sanjeev Verma, Asha Rani, Balbir Singh, Ajay Singh, Khajoor Singh besides others. |
