JPPF demands CBI inquiry in Sarore incident | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 30: Jammu Province People's Forum (JPPF) convened a meeting under the chairmanship of Pavitar Singh to discuss growing criminal incidents by some miscreants under the protection of political outfits. As per press release, members of JPPF while discussing issue of Sarore incidents the members of the Forum were of the opinion that some criminals who are involved in robberies, theft murders and ransom are unnecessarily sheltered by the political outfits and the police department when swung into action to curb their activities were snubbed by the department which clearly indicates that the entire administration is hand in gloves with the criminals. It is also obvious that there is no law and order for miscreants who are given shelter by the political outfits. They warned administration and requested Governor to intervene into the matter of Sarore incident and demanded to conduct a CBI inquiry for transparency. They alleged that local investigating agency would not be able to get justice to the masses in general and the police officer who was suspended for none of his fault. They further requested Government to come forward with clean hands on this issue otherwise the situation would be out of control and the masses will adopt their own course of action. We are peace loving people and we want that the Government should give justice to every citizen of the state irrespective of caste, colour or creed otherwise it would be a difficult situation for the Government to handle. |
