Korean companies, JKSERC Chairman hold meet, discuss avenues in power sector

Jammu, Mar 30: PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Jammu Committee today coordinated and facilitated meetings between a delegation of Korean Power Developer Companies with Basharat Ahmad Dar, Chairman J&K State Electricity Regulatory Commission (JKSERC) & with representatives of J&K State Power Development Corporation Limited (JKSPDCL), National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC) in the office chamber.
The objective of the meeting was to examine possibility of investment in large Hydroelectric Projects in the state of J&K by Korean Companies. During the course of the meeting the distinguished delegation discussed at length with Chairman of JKSERC & other representatives all the aspects related to investment & subsequent execution of any such project in the state.
The delegation of Korean Companies comprised of Chong-Tahk Park, President DAEATI co. ltd.; Ki-Eun Choi, Vice Chairman Pyunghwa Engineering consultants ltd. & Sanjeev Chopra, FCA & FCA (Eng & Wales) Managing partner.
