2 CAPD officials suspended, licences of 3 dealers cancelled | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 13: The CAPD department has canceled licences of three dealers, having sale outlets at Mishriwala, Siblewala and Marjali, under Unfair Trade Practices Act and placed under suspension its two employees. The three sale outlets were raided by the executive magistrate to scrutinise their stocks in view of the seizure of 275 PDS bags. The dealers were found responsible for non distribution of ration in their respective areas and for indulging in black marketing of government ration, official sources said. Meanwhile, the department also placed under suspension Rajit Singh, supervisor of Chatha Store, and Romesh Singh Chib, storekeeper of Chatha store, for failing to watch the government interest in detecting the tempered permit. This was a follow up of the action taken by the department in suspending of dealers found involved in black marketing of PDS wheat from the premises of M/s Kissan flour Mills. The regular departmental enquiry was likely to be initiated against the suspended officials, sources said. |
