Early Times Report JAMMU, May 13: All government and private schools of Jammu region are likely to observe summer vacations from June 6."As per yearly calendar already issued by the government, the two-month long summer vacations in Jammu region are scheduled to begin from June 6," an official here told . He said that all schools falling in summer zone of Jammu region will observe vacations as per an order. Director, School Education, Smita Sethi said, "So far the order is same but dates can be revised or there may be some changes." "We have not formally issued any order with confirmed dates for vacations," Ms Sethi added. The maximum temperature in the region is recorded between 36 degrees to 40 degrees, which is predicted to rise in coming days. The maximum temperature recorded so far this season in the winter capital in 42.3 degree Celsius. |
