RAJOURI, June 8:Troops have busted an old hideout of the militants and have recovered arms and ammunition in today in a joint operation conducted by Rajouri police and 63 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) in a forest in Kalakot tehsil in Rajouri district, The recovery include two 9mm pistols with 2 magazines and 3 rounds (Pakistan made), one AK47 Magazine and 20 rounds, two hand grenades (destroyed on spot), three Canwood hand held Radio Sets, two anti personnel mines and one relegious book.
"The operation was launched jointly after an specific inputs in Lal Forest near village Sadda and the hideout was busted after 2pm after taking every security measures," said a senior police officer. The hide out was made in a natural cave in the forest in Tatapani general area. |
