DySP fond of whisky 'misuses' his official position 6/8/2016 11:37:48 PM Early Times report Jammu, June 8: An influential Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) posted in one of the wings of Jammu and Kashmir police in Jammu district is very fond of whisky and is allegedly misusing his official position for satiating his needs. According to sources in the police department, the DySP who is very fond of whisky used to dictate his subordinates to collect whisky from army canteen along with other house hold items. Sources further claimed that the DySP over ruled the senior officer after his blue-eyed boy who his posted in Jammu district was transferred to Samba district, but the DySP used his links to keep his boy in Jammu district because it was due to his boy, he used to collect whisky, ration and other house hold items for him from different quarters. Sources maintained that the jurisdiction of the DySP is entire Jammu district and he often misuses his official powers for his personal benefits. Subordinates of the DySp are up in arms against his style of functioning but they have no other option other than falling in the line.
