Jammu, June 8: After Early Times carried a news story under the caption "Blue-eyed of BJP minister holds dual charge of top posts as Chief Engineer PHE, I&FC", the government has ordered the appointment of a new chief engineer in PHE department, relieving another of the additional charge.
As per the June 8, 2016 government order No 116/PW/Hyd, Suhail Aima, CE Design, Inspection and Quality Control has been transferred and posted as CE, PHE, relieving R K Gandotra of the additional charge with immediate effect.

The Early Times had carried the news story in this regard on May 30 last, highlighting the difficulties being faced by the people in view of the less attention being paid by the CE holding the additional charge and also because of the strike of PHE employees. |
