Jammu, Jun 8: The J&K high court would remain closed for summer vacations from June 13 to June 27. A notification to this effect was issued by high court registrar general M K Hanjura today. The Chief Justice also nominated vacations judges for the Kashmir and Jammu wings of the high court to hear matters which may require to be immediately or promptly dealt with. According to the notification, Justice B S Walia would be the vacation judge of Jammu wing and Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur of Srinagar wing from June 20 to June 24. In another order, principal sessions judge, Jammu, nominated three session judges to deal with emergent criminal cases of Jammu district. According to this order, additional sessions judge, Jammu, Rajesh Sekri would hold the court from June 13 to June 17, 2nd additional sessions judge from June 18 to June 22 and 3rd additional sessions judge would hold the court fromJune 23 to June 27. In another order, CJM, Jammu, Suneet Gupta nominated three judicial magistrates to function as duty magistrates during the summer vacations to deal with emergent criminal cases of Jammu district. Parveen Pandoh, Munsiff, Jammu, would hold the court from June 13 to June 17, Vinod Kumar, Special Electricity Magistrate, Jammu, would hold the court from June 18 to June 22 and Romesh Lal, Forest Magistrate, Jammu, would hold the court from June 23 to June 27.
