JAMMU, JUNE 8: SDM, Akhnoor, Sunaina Sharma, convened a meeting to review the preparedness of different departments for the ensuing monsoon season.
Representatives of headquarter 10 Infantry Division, SDPO Akhnoor and all concerned Tehsildars, Executive Engineers and representatives of other departments were present in the meeting.
SDM took a general review of all the departments and a threadbare discussion was held on their preparedness for countering any adverse situation during this season.
SDM emphasized upon all the sectoral officers to work out modalities and identify their available resources to tackle the situation that can occur due to rainy season. She directed the officers to keep a strong liasoning among their respective departments, civil society, NGOs, rotary clubs and Red Cross Society so that people may not suffer on this account. |
