Jammu, June 8: Vichar Kranti Manch Int'l has taken a step to convene a meeting, of different NGOs, people from civil society, Bureaucrat, Politicians, and all other segments of the society, to discuss about the need of Ashtang Yoga for spiritual elevation.
According to press release for the purpose a function was organized here today, Dr. D L Chowdhary Director the Yoga Centre Central University Jammu was the Chief Guest, Noted Journalist and Social Activist Daya Sagar presided over and Dr K.C. Sharma, Retired Surgeon and Social Worker and Commander V.D Sharma, a spirituality preacher were the Guests of Honour.
Ashok Gupta Founder Managing Trustee, Sarv Utthan Trust and Zonal President VKMI welcomed the participants and congratulated for participating for the noble cause. The interaction started with the views of Prof Sarla Kohli, Former Principal GGM Science College, who suggested to start the movement with our homes, small skits may be started for which Balwant Thakur an Internationally noted stage Director be requested to frame out such skits; So that Yama Niyams with other folds of Ashtang Yoga can be included in the Yoga Programme. |
