NPSU demands early resumption of B.ed re-evaluation | | | Early Times Report Jammu, June 8: Infuriated by the discontinuation of B.ed re-evaluation being directed by the University authorities from the current session, NPSU urged the Vice-Chancellor of Jammu University to facilitate an early resumption of the process in the interest of student fraternity. Speaking on the occasion, Th. Virender Singh State President NPSU disclosed to the media that the serious resentment was brewing among the students by the obnoxious decision taken by the University authorities. He said that the student fraternity aspiring to become teachers were suffering badly and their morale was lowered by the university decision which disallowed re-evaluation of B.ed papers from the current session. The student leaders apprised the VC University of Jammu through the media that following the protest earlier Dean Education had taken cognizance of the matter which was triggering outrage among the student which compelled the incumbent officer to send the written communication to the Controller Exams for the early resumption of re-evaluation process. He lamented that despite the assurances given by the Dean Education nothing had been done on the ground reality so far to issue the notification for the resumption of the re-evaluation process. Prominent among those who were present in the press conference included Lovely Singh, Shubam Jasrotia,, Sumit Jamwal and Bhupinder Singh. |
