katra, June 8: Wrestler Som Beer of Rohtak in Harayana clinched the 10th Annual Udhampur-Industrial State Kesari Dangal Title 2016 outplaying Wrestler Rubal Jit Singh of Khanna in Punjanb in the first malli bout held at Industrial Area, Battal Ballian (Rathian) in District Udhampur.
Dangal was organized by young Dangal Committee in collaboration with J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association under the overall supervision of President J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association Shiv Kumar Sharma and chairman young Dangal Committee Rakesh Singh.
Winner of first bout Som Beer was cash awarded with Rs 51,000/- along with "Maa Ki Chunni" and with 10th Udhampur Industrial State Kesari Title 2016 by Shiv Kumar Sharma & Rakesh Singh while runner-up Wrestler Rubal Jit Singh was cash awarded with Rs 40,000/- by Sunil Badyal, Rakesh Sharma and Naresh Kumar.
69 bouts were played in the one day historic dangal wherein expenditure of Rs 3,50,000/- has been incurred for conduct of one day vishal Dangal. Chemicals Industry Association contributed Rs 91,000/- cash prize money for the first main bout as financial assistance to the organizers.
Second main malli bout was won by Benia of J&K Police who defeated Yudeshter of Delhi. Winner Benia was cash awarded with Rs 31,000/- while runner-up Yudeshter got Rs 20,000/-. 3rd main bout was won by Bhupinder of Ajnala who defeated Rajesh of Rohtak. 4th bout was won by Satyanam of Ludhiana who defeated Ishaq (lallu) of Bajrangi Akhara Jammu. 5th bout was won by Hari Om of Delhi who defeated Nissar of Doda.
Members and Technical officials who helped for conduct of the one day Wrestling event included Rakesh Singh (chairman), Rakesh Sharma, Arun Khajuria, Jeevan Lal, Sanjeev Singh, Aditya Bhatyal, Sajjad Mohd., Om Parkash Verma, Naresh Kumar (Pappu Lakri), Raj Singh, Rajinder Kumar, Mohd. Fareed, Capt. Dhiyan Singh (Retd.), Vijay Singh, Deepak Anand, Swatantra Dev Kotwal, Prem Verma, Sat Paul, Tulinder Kumar and Murli Dhar (Munna).
