Jammu, June 17: Association of Industries, Gangyal on Friday expressed resentment against Power Development Department over frequently power curtailment, low voltage power supply in Digiana and Gangyal industrial area.
According to press release, on this issue an urgent meeting was held today under the chairmanship of Rajesh Jain, wherein they discussed the power supply in SICOP Industrial Complex, Gangyal since the last twenty days.
They alleged that a step motherly being treated to Gangyal and Digiana Industrial Estate by the Power Development Department.
The Members raised serious concern about the frequent tripping of power supply and low voltage from Grid Station and Gangyal receiving station due to which the unit holders are facing problem and their production activity disturbed resulting huge financial loss.
Apart from production loss, the motors and electrical parts of the machinery are damaged because of interruption and low voltage.
The matter was brought in the notice of Chief Engineer, M&RE and System Operation but no avail.
The Members of the Association strongly flayed the working of Power Development Department (PDD) where nobody is accountable for repeated power failures and low voltage in Industrial Area, Gangyal. |
