Local court stays J&K Sports Council's order 6/17/2016 11:46:40 PM Early Times Report Jammu, June 17: City Judge Jammu M S Manhas has stayed the operation of the impugned notification dtd 12/08/13 and Order Number 182 dated 15-03-16 issued by J&K State Sports Council.Vide order number 182 dtd 15/03/16, the State Sports Council had withdrawn the recognition granted to J&K Olympic Association. If recalled here the J&K Sports Council had also declared Olympic Association as ineligible for grant-in-aid as well as other forms of assistance from the State Government and Sports Council. Taking strong exception of the aforesaid order, the J&K Olympic Association has challenged the same local Court recently has ordered "the operation of the impugned notification dated 12/08/13 and Order Number 182 dtd 15/03/ 2016 issued by J&K State Sports Council is hereby stayed and non-applicants/defendants are temporarily restrained from forming/constituting adhoc for the applicant/plaintiff till the disposal of the main suit.
