Doctors suspend work after cop- medico scuffle | | | Early Times Report
Bhaderwah, July 18: Following a scuffle between a doctor and a Sub Inspector of Jammu and Kashmir Police the doctors in Sub District Hospital (SDH) Bhaderwah today suspended their works to observe strike to register their protest and demanding action against Police Sub Inspector. According to protesting doctors accused the police official to have misbehaved with their colleague while the police have denied the medicos charges saying the official was performing his duties. According to sources keeping in view the Chandi Mata Yatra, the administration has diverted the traffic near zero point on Chamba Bhadewrah road but one Dr Mudasir Arif Assistant Surgeon posted at SDH Bhaderwah insisted Sub Inspector Zaheer Ahmed to allow his car on the same road. "However the police official didn't allow the doctor keeping in view security of Yatra and the duo got engaged heated exchange words which took ugly turn when duo entered into a scuffle, sources said. "Thereafter the duo was shifted to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Bhaderwah for treatment, they added. Meantime the both parties are making allegations and counter allegation upon each other however Police yet has not registered case till last report came in. |
