Azad, Karan provide Oxygen to "dying" BJP | | | Early Times Report jammu, July 18: In Jammu Congress leadership has cornered the BJP by exposing its so-called pro-Hindu approach but in the Rajya Sabha, Ghulam Nabi Azad and Dr Karan Singh have provided Oxygen to the Saffron Party which was facing anger of the people in Jammu region. During debate in the Upper House of the Parliament on Kashmir situation, leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha, Ghulam Nabi Azad openly spoke in favour of stone pelters of Kashmir Valley but did not uttered even a single word in favour of Amarnath pilgrims and Kashmir Pandit employees who were rough up by the miscreants and fundamentalist forces in the Valley. Azad's speech has provided a relief to the BJP, which had been almost exposed by the Jammu Congress for its double standard on nationalism and pro-Hindu approach. Congress leaders of Jammu had exposed BJP's fake love for India and Hindus. BJP was looking for excuses to defend but after Ghulam Nabi Azad's speech in the Rajya Sabha, in which Azad has only addressed Kashmir constituency, BJP is happy now. Just after Ghulam Nabi Azad's speech, BJP's hit back at Congress for supporting stone pelters of Kashmir Valley and not mentioning miseries of Amarnath pilgrims and displaced Kashmiri Pandits. BJP was in defense after Ghulam Nabi Azad's statement just after killing of Burhan but his today's statement has made BJP offensive. Similarly veteran Congress leader Dr Karan Singh, in which address in the Rajya Sabha also ignored Amarnath pilgrims and Kashmiri Pandits Meanwhile Congress Monday held a protest demonstration here to express strong resentment over the prevailing situation in the Kashmir Valley "due to mishandling of the situation by the State and Centre Governments and the Pakistan's direct and open interference to fuel further trouble besides failure of the Government to ensure fool proof security and adequate arrangements to Shri Amarnath Yatris." |
