State, Central govt. responsible for current situation of state: Congress | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 18: To express resentment over the prevailing situation in Kashmir valley, congress today criticized state, Central government and said that both government was responsible for current situation of state. Hundreds of congress workers led by former minister Raman Bhalla today stages protest demonstration against Pakistan and denouncing terrorism at Jammu. Addressing the protesters, Bhalla said that both government has failed to provide fool proof security to the Amarnath Yatris who had to face lot of hardships at various places enroot and were subjected to attacks and harassment by miscreants during these periods in the absence of proper security and managements. They also alleged that Central and State Government ignoring the warning signals during the past some time regarding the deteriorating situation in the Valley which has come out open after the killing of Hizb. Commander Burham Wani by the security forces as there were increased attacks on forces and raising of Pakistan and ISIS flags on every Friday during past several months. Bhalla lashed out at the PDP-PJP for its failure to deal with the situation during its rule in the state as a result the militancy has gained further grip and situation deteriorated during their rule. The BJP stands exposed for its total failure on all fronts and described the Pakistan role in the recent periods and now as highly condemnable and questioned policies of the Modi Government on this front as well Kashmir. "The PDP-BJP government was silent spectator to the deteriorating security situation in the Valley as a result there is reverse trend in the peace and normalcy and situation has turned very grim now", he said. They appealed to the people to maintain peace and communal harmony and isolate the forces of terrorism and untidily defeat the designs of antinational enimical forces.
