Pir Panjal not part of Jammu province, say separatists | Spreading tentacles beyond Valley | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 5: Communal forces in Kashmir and their agents in Jammu want to extend the tentacles of Kashmiri separatists beyond the Kashmir Valley. They want to engulf this province by the same communal fire that has engulfed the Kashmir Valley, the trouble spot for decades. They have put forth a sinister suggestion. They have described Pir Panjal mountain range - a natural wall between Kashmir and Jammu -- as "Greater Pir Panjal" and said this doesn't belong to Jammu. The separatists said the "Greater Pir Panjal consists of Kishtwar, Doda, Ramban, Reasi, Rajouri and Poonch". Pir Panjal is just a mountainous range and to say that it doesn't belong to Jammu is only a tales of travesty and an attempt to disintegrate distinct Jammu province, which will not happen. This range is not the personal fief of separatists; this belongs to the nation in general and Jammu province in Particular. They should remember that the Hindus and Muslim are evenly balanced in Ramban, Kishtwar and Doda districts. They should also remember that the Hindus are lso not really a minority in Rajouri district. Poonch is the only Muslim-majority district and a vast majority of Muslims in the district is anti-Kashmir. The people of Jammu province would see to it that these separatists and their agents in Jammu are defeated and defeated comprehensively.
