Jammu Sept 5:Soan Kashmir Front has expressed grave concern over the attitude of the J&K Govt. headed by Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir State for ignoring the representatives of the Kashmiri Pandit Migrant community especially the representatives of Migrant camps and non migrant camps for their presence in the meeting with the All party delegation when Hurriyat conference has been invited for the dialogue. President has raised a question as to why the Government has ignored those representative who have struggled for the causes of the community for past 27 years and have always remained loyal to Indian Nation in inviting them for dialogue/talks with all party Delegation. He cautioned both Central Government as well as State Government that the Kashmiri Pandit community is living a life in exile for past 27 years though they have fundamental rights to live in Kashmir valley of which they are the origins and very much willing for their return and rehabilitation in Kashmir valley to live a dignified life. It has been demanded that satellite town for 3 lakh Kashmiri pandit families be raised immediately in Kashmir valley in a safe and secure place for ensuring permanent rehabilitation of the Kashmiri Pandit community to live a dignified and peaceful life. He said presently an amount of Rs. 10,000/- is being provided as monthly relief to a family comprising four or more souls which does not meet their domestic needs as the prices of all essential commodities have gone up. The families having the only source of income i.e. cash relief have been suffering hard as they have been facing difficulties in managing educational expenses of their wards which has adversely affected the education of Migrant Youth. The cash relief needs to be enhanced to Rs. 25,000/- per family per month. Pandita has said that since All party delegation on its visit of Kashmir valley have ascertained the conditions prevailing in Kashmir valley as such the Delegation should recommend imposing of Governors Rule In J&K and then initiate dialogue to settle the Kashmir unrest. Prominent among others who were present in the meeting were Raj Kumar Tickoo, Sunil Koul, B. N. Thusso, Raj Kumar Bhat, Shiban Ji Raina, Rattan Lal Bhat, S. L. Kar, Kashi Nath Bhat, Hari Krishan Pandita, M.L. Pandita, Mithan Pandita, Vijay Pandita and others. |
