Early Times Report

Jammu Sept 5: Alleging a foul play, the All India Backwards Classes Union (AIBCU) today said not allowing AIBCU delegation to call on APD is condemnable act and alleged that the Divisional Commissioner Jammu has purposely not allowed the delegation of AIBCU to meet with All Party Delegation (APD).
In a press conference called in emergency, Abdul Majid Malik, President AIBCU and other members amid slogans against Divisional Commissioner Jammu Dr Pawan Kotwal alleged that he did not allow AIBCU deputation to meet APD and added that to keep AIBCU away from APD, is a condemnable conspiracy.
Citing reports appeared in the Early Times local English daily, AIBCU Speakers said that as per reports in news paper the name of AIBCU was deleted at the eleventh hour.
Speakers and members questioned the APD to whim they wanted to talk to and what policy APD had adopted while coming to Srinagar and Jammu. "Disturbance is not only because of the misguided but also some elements in Govt are also responsible for it, they added.
Expressing their resentment AIBCU members said, " They have communicated to Divisional Commissioner, Jammu (Nodal Officer) Dr Pawan Kotwal on 2nd of Sept 2016 for their empanelment in the list of visitors to APD. When they inquired the Additional Commissioner replied that they are preparing the list however on Sept 4 and the reply was "No".
