2 brothers held for raping girl 9/5/2016 11:48:42 PM Early Times Report Rajouri, Sept 5: Two brothers, who had yesterday allegedly raped a 20-year-old girl in an abandoned shop at Kalakas here, have been arrested by police. Manjit Singh and Davinder Singh, sons of Ramesh Lal of Kalakas, were alleged to have raped the girl after making her take a spiked drink. The alleged incident took place Saturday when the victim was on her way home at Badhoon in the three wheeler of Manjeet Singh. While other passengers boarded off, Manjeet made her to take a spiked drink and then took her to an abandoned shop at Kalakas where he and his brother allegedly raped her. The duo later dumped the girl by the roadside and fled the spot. After she regained consciousness, she went home and narrated the incident to her parents who lodged a complaint with the concerned police on Sunday. The accused were arrested by police today from their hideout in the village. They have been booked under sections 376, 342 and 109 of RPC.
