| Hollow tehsil Complex Mandi dilapidate, locals careworn | | | Early Times Report
Mandi/ Sarfraz Chak, Sept 5: Former state coalition government has sanctioned a charming building for Mandi tehsil complex atleast six years ago, which has four roofs in which more than fifty rooms having thirteen sub division level offices in it. According to the sources from different areas of Mandi tehsil it has informed that the tehsil complex after investment of crore of rupees is hollow, there are thirteen offices out of which most of them remains always closed. Report said only class fourth staff open many offices of the said complex and officers always remains absent from their duties. and other report tells that there is no tehsildar inside the complex since March this year even Insaaf Movement many time requested to authorities to post tehsildar in Mandi, but authorities are in slumber and people suffer a lot. Farod Malik a local of Arai in this regard showed his anger in ghese words "the government should closed this complex" if it cannot provide officials to the common masses. He said in this complex Tehsildar, BDO, AEE PDD, AEE PWD and all tehsil level officers are not sitting there. He further said people of far flung areas suffers a lot when they come from more than thirty kilometres for any work and found officials absent from offices. |
