Insaaf Movement demands flood relief

Poonch, Sept 5: Jammu and Kashmir Insaaf Movement Poonch organised a review meeting today at Prade ground park Poonch to grieve the loss of lives and properties and the regressive measures taken by the authorities there on during the September flood 2014.
Javid Iqbal Reshi, chairman of the movement, criticised the central state governments on their setbacks.
A large number of people were presented the occasion who showed their surprise over actions taken by authorities during two years after flood.
People along with women expressed their anger against administration and said all deserving people were ignored in relief.
They said the crore of rupees properties and many live were lost during the flood who are yet waiting for justice.
Javid Reshi the chairman of the movement lastly raised the photographs of the public properties among the people which were damaged during flood.
He said the people have not got Dalhan bridge, Drungli nalah bridge is yet to complete, Kalani village is divided into three parts, Sathra river in far off bridge, Seri Chohhana bridge is about 300 meters away from river while people of Purani Poonch are living in schools after completion of two years.
He said people of Azad mohalla are living in damaged houses and people are not given justice till now. They demanded the inquiry of income of those employees and officers who were involved during September flood 2014. Reshi demanded inquiry into the matter and said impartial set of teams should go in fields to justify the deservers of the flood.
