Inter district division level basketball tournament concludes

Samba, Sept 5: The Department of Youth Services and Sports District Samba today organized Inter District Division Level Basketball Tournament at Kristu Jyoti Convent School Samba under the guidance of Joint Director DYSSO Madan Lal. Chief Guest of the occasion was Joint Director DYSSO. Tehsildar Samba R. K. Rathore was the guest of honour. 162 students participated in the tournament including boys and girls.
The dignitaries present on the opening ceremony were Naib Tehsildar Rajinder Singh, Rakesh Verma, Vijay Singh Slathia, Pardeep Singh and Raghubir Singh all are Zonal Physical Education Officers.
Result
In U/14 Girls Played Jammu V/s Udhampur Districts and Jammu won by 10 - 01, while in U/17 Girls Played Jammu V/s Udhampur District and Jammu won by 06-02. In U/19 Girls Played Jammu V/s Udhampur Districts and Jammu won by 26-0. From Jammu District Tamanna (U/17) scored three points and Vidhi Khajuria and Ananya Rathore played well. From Jammu District Amitoj Kour (U/19) scored two points and Shagun Lalotra and Romanya Rathore Played well. From Jammu District Parul Sharma (U/19) and Kiran Kour Played well.
The officials included Rajesh Sambyal, (Joint Director Office), Anirudh Singh Slathia, Rekha Sambyal, Ravi Singh, Dhanraj Singh, Vishal Bharti, Manjeet Singh Sambyal, Rajesh Bandral, Sanjay Jamwal, Kuldeep Singh, Ranbir Singh, Mousami Verma, Vaneet Pangotra, Vinay Salaria, Kewal Krishan Sharma, Kranti Khajuria, Deepak Sharma, Naresh Sharma, Zorawar Singh Sambyal, Roopa Sambyal.
