Poonch, Sept 21: Early Times daily newspaper had published a news regarding embezzlement of funds for the planting of fruit trees, poles and barricaded wire in state land area of Fatehpur. Social Forestry has occupied the said state land in 1994 and have planted plants thrice in this area. During the year 2014-2015 the department covered the area and misuse lacks of rupees for the plantation.
A local Niwaz Sharief Reshi in this regard informed Early Times, about two months before and the newspaper published said public issue.
Taking action in this regard the higher authorities fined rupees about sixty thousands to the involved employees of the said department. Reporter early times when tried to seek a xerox copy of said order, the official declined to provide the copy.
Sources told that more than fifty eight thousand rupees have been charged from the foresters, guards and other involved officials and employees |
