PCC expansion, reshuffle on cards 9/21/2016 10:38:45 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 21: An expansion of Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) is likely to be affected very soon for adjustment of dissidents while the incumbent PCC president is also learnt to have almost finalized the names of new District Presidents thus inviting a reshuffle at the organization level. According to the sources in Congress circles, some incumbent PCC office bearers are likely to be assigned new and significant responsibilities at the District level while the dissidents may be adjusted in the central body, which is all set to be expanded. While elaborating, sources claimed that PCC general secretaries Dr Manohar Lal Sharma and S Manjeet Singh are likely to be appointed as new District Presidents of Kathua and Samba districts, respectively while Mula Ram, Hari Singh and R S Chib are in the race for district President Rural Jammu but the party may assign them the responsibility of vice-president in PCC. Both Prakash Sharma and Subash Gupta, the incumbent district presidents of Samba and Kathua, respectively, are also being adjusted in the central body as general secretaries while the name of Arun Sharma is being considered for the post of joint secretary, sources informed. MLC Jugal Kishore, a die hard Azad loyalist and leader of the dissident camp, is also interested for the District Presidentship but may be considered for the post of vice-president. Besides, some more faces from the dissident camp as well as Satish Sharma, son of former MP Madan Lal Sharma, may be at the organizational positions with different responsibilities. However, there will be no other Senior Vice-President except Sham Lal Sharma, who has been made incharge of the entire Jammu province thus once again making it clear that despite all out efforts of former Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand to create obstacles for his vete-noire, there is no comparison to leadership of Sham.
