Jan castigates BJP-PDP Govt 9/21/2016 10:14:00 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 21: Castigating BJP PDP state coalition government for its failure to fulfil the promise made with border residents for construction of bunkers, National Conference here has asked government to wake from its deep slumber. While interacting with people during his tour to border areas, Youth National Conference Provincial President Ajaz Jan said that in the wake of recently erupted tension between India and Pakistan after attack on Army camp in Uri in which many jawans got martyred, a team of NC leaders today visited the border belts of Poonch district in Saujiyan, Mandi and Khari, Qasba Poonch areas. "People living along LoC are in state of fear amid ongoing diplomatic tension and are fearing a war like situation erupting between the two nations " Jan said. "We put our efforts for restoring confidence of border residents " Jan said while assuring people that entire National conference leaders are with them. He further castigated BJP PDP led state government for turning closed eye towards the issues and grievances of border residents. After shelling on border in mid August 2015, senior PDP and BJP Ministers visited border areas and announced that bunkers will be constructed for safety of people but the announcement is yet to see day light.
