ASI of SSB dies in gun shot 9/21/2016 11:27:11 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 21: An Assistant Sub-Inspector of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) died when his service weapon allegedly went off under mysterious circumstances at District Police Lines (DPL), this evening. The deceased has been identified as Assistant Sub Inspector Atar Singh, U/N No. 13080531, of village Dungal Goon, P.O-Bhatwari Dhanari, Distt- Uttar Kashi (U.K), died due to accidental Fire at DPL Jammu. Police sources at 7:50 pm, gun shots were heard and after hearing the gun shots other colleagues reached to the spot and found ASI in pool of blood. Later, the body was shifted to the mortuary of the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) for post-mortem and other legal formalities.
