Jammu, Oct 2: In order to promote talent and God consciousness among children, Bhagawaan Gopinathji Trust organized a children art competition at Bhagawaan Gopinathji Ashram, Udaiwala, Bohri, Jammu on today.
P. N. Kaul 'Sayil' presided over the function. T.K. Raina while welcoming the chief guest, the young children and their parents, said that the Trust organizes such programmes at the various ashrams of the trust to inculcate moral and spiritual values in the youth.
Santosh Tikoo and Veer Jee Sumbli acted as the judges on this occasion. They appreciated the efforts put in by the Trust to promote talent and Bhagawaan consciousness in the youth.
Around 450 children participated in the competition. Certificates and trophies were given to those who secured first, second and third position in each category and all other participants were given certificates. The participants who bagged 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize in the senior group are Parath Safaya, Nita Bhat and Kumud Koul and Ishika Khunda got the consolation prize.
In Junior group Ridhima Bhat, Yashvi Bhat and Lakshe Raina and in sub-junior group Twinkle Koul, Jiya Bhat and Mahima got 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize respectively. T. K. Raina acted as the compere on the occasion. In the end, a light refreshment was served to one and all. |
