Ruing shoddy investigation to shield accused, complainant seeks SSP's intervention

Jammu, Oct 2: Alleging unfair investigation in an assault case, complainant has approached Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Jammu to direct the concerned police official for fair investigation and corporate real offences.
As per complainant, Inderjeet Kapoor on 29-09-2016 one Rahul Sharma called his son on telephone to meet him at certain place and when he reached at the place the accused persons named in FIR Arun Thothla along with one girl and one boy stooped the vehicle of the his son.
Thereafter, Arun came out of a car bearing registration number JK02BQ-2223 and forced his son to sit in his car which was resisted by his son following which Arun took out his pistol and aimed it on my son. The complainant further alleged that Arun threatened his son to sit in his car otherwise he will kill him.
"Later, Arun sat on the motorcycle of his son as pillion rider and threatened him if tried to escape he shoot him", alleged the complainant adding that his son in fear started driving the motorcycle and was taken to the house of Arun and the aforesaid car keep following the motorcycle.
He further alleged that when they reached the house of Arun his family members were waiting there and forcefully confined his son in a room and beat him with hockey and iron rod.
"Assailants further asked his son to say sorry by gesture and took the snaps of the same in the mobile and in the meantime Rahul Sharma reached the house and my son was beaten in his presence", alleged complainant.
"Smelling foul play, I along with my wife reached the house of Arun where assailants beat me and my wife and also tried to outrage the modesty of my wife which is evident from the injury marks", alleged Inderjeet.
In the meantime police reached the spot and took us for medical examination while ear ring of my son was also snatched by the assailants, added complainant.
He further alleged that the offence alleged to be committed by accused persons are very serious i.e 364/324/342/147/149/382/506 of RPC and 3/25 Arms Act but police has registered a case under sections 3/25 Arms Act , 323/342/506/34 of RPC and the police is helping the accused persons where it is evident from the fact that offence under section 3/25 Arms Act, 323, 342, 506, 354/34/109 of RPC carry punishment upto 7 years. Yet the accused are not being arrested despite the fact that anticipatory bail is only for offence carrying punishment upto 5 years only.
Complainant in his complaint also requested to direct the concerned police to incorporate the aforesaid offence and also arrest the accused person as they are threatening him and other witnesses.
