Jammu, Oct 2: Rattled by attack of Pakistani sponsored terrorists clandestinely on an Army camp in Uri and subsequent thundering surgical strikes launched inside POK by Indian Army smashing terrorist camps has broken the back of old henchman nurtured by Pakistan in Kashmir finding closure of his mischievous shop igniting fire of unrest in Valley.
As per media reports, it is evident that Hurriyat leader Geelani has landed into deep frustration following Uri attack by terrorists followed by surgical operation in POK eliminating their training camps.
Experts say that due to this reason and also sudden change of events on a swift speed has turned the tide making the majority of Kashmiris to understand the futility of following the dictates of Hurriyat leader ostensibly dubbing him as deadwood and bundle of vain hopes.
Perusal of media reports reveals that like Pakistan, Geelani, the person behind issuing strike calendar in Kashmir does not seem to be ready to accept the reality of surgical strikes calling them stage managed which were actually carried out on the launching pads of terrorists in camps adjacent to LOC. This way he is parroting the tone of his Pakistani big masters who are still failing to understand the gravity of the escalating situation and its devastating consequences which can further lead to war on large scale.
Laughing at the whimsical thinking of Geelani emanating in press who feels disenchanted to see the steps of the Govt to review Indus Water Treaty and Most Favoured Nation (MFN) status bestowed upon Pakistan, boycott of ensuing SAARC meet by more than five SAARC countries including India, worldwide ostracization of Pakistan by various powers, the Kashmir watchers assail the audacity the Hurriyat leader not to predict the consequences of such steps being taken by the Government of India.
A retired army officer, pleading anonymity said that it is the compulsion of Hurriyats and its bosses sitting across the border to ignore occurrence of surgical operation crossing LOC otherwise in case of their acceptance, they are bound to get fully exposed in the world community for running training camps for terrorists in POK, which is a fact, he added.
Din Mohd told that Geelani has gradually lost the ground in Kashmir and now frantically beating about the bushes in press statements in an effort to survive the assault of suppressed public anger in their mind during unrest against his misadventures to spoil Kashmir and Kashmiris for his vested interests, they added.
Rashid Ahmed, businessman was of the view that slowly normal activities are coming back on the track after more than three months unrest in the valley and separatists' leaders are having sleepless nights to find them in a state of uncertainty about their future with people coming in open to defy the calendar of Hurriyat leader. He further said that for how much long the Hurriyats will continue to hoodwink the kashmiris who are now fully fed up obeying their calendar and keeping their establishments closed for all these months, he rued.
Ghulam Rasool said that people in Kashmir were free enough to move out and do their routine activities, but the slogans of separatists to get Azadi has finally proved a hoax after prolonging unrest in the valley. Instead of Azadi, the people have remained as slaves confined to their houses for all these months due to misleading policy of these separatists. Rather the latest events raising war like situation between India and Pakistan are the aftermath of emotional exploitation being done by few separatists every now and then, he said adding that it should serve as an eyes opener for them to fall in line and desist from exploiting the kashmiris any more, he slammed. |
