Jammu, Oct 2: Jammu Institute of Ayurveda & Research (JIAR) organized a free medical camp at Baba Kailakh Nath ji temple, Keran Bantalab Jammu in the memory of late Roop Lal Sharma, founder of Shri Sain Charitable Trust & JIAR. Large number of patients of various ailments including skin diseases, cough, fever, piles, fistula, indigestion, diabetes, infected wounds, phimosis, cystic swellings, ear disorders, rhinitis etc were examined and treated. Specialists from the Department of Kayachikitsa, Dr. Atal Bihari Trivedi, Associate Professor and Dr Roshi Mahajan, Assistant Professor and specialist from the Department of Shalyatantra Dr Vishal Khanna, Associate Professor and specialist from the Department of Shalakyatantra Dr. Ankush Bhardwaj, Assistant Professor examined the patients. Post graduate scholars and students of final year of JIAR also rendered their services in the camp. Patients were also advised to follow the ayurveda principles to live a disease free life. Medicinal support was provided free of cost by JIAR pharmacy. JIAR has been continuously organizing the medical camps for the welfare of society. |
