Shree Chandi Jagran held at Bahu Fort 10/2/2016 10:26:23 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 2: On the eve of commencement of Holy Navratri Festival Jagran Committee of Saryara Biradari, Bahu Fort organized an impressive 'Shree Chandi Jagran' at its Devsthan, Mahatma Atma Ram ji Samaddhi last night to promotion of world peace and for prosperity of mankind. President Saryara Sabha- Bahu Fort, Bahadur Lal Dalotra was chief guest on the occasion. Bahadur Lal alongwith his committee members and other dignitaries lighted the Akhand Jyoti and performed Aarti Pooja. Hundreds of devotees including resident of ward number 47 and 48 and Bawe Wali Mata pilgrims participated in the jagran to seek blessings Goddess Maa Chandi. Artist from Lucky Musical Group enthralled the devotees with wide range of Bhajans and Paddiri songs. Renowned Paddri singer Daljeet Singh, Luckey Sagotra (Jammu), Udhumpur's Master Ashish, Payal Dogra (Jammu) and other artists enthralled the audience with their melodious Bhajans and Mata Bhaints. Kartik headed the team of musician. 'Maa Ka Bhawan' and stage was decorated with flowers and colorful lights besides proper arrangement of lighting were made at the venue. On the occasion, a Bhandara was also organised besides performing Kanya Pujan. Meanwhile, police has made elaborate security arrangements to avoid any untoward incident.
