SEECC-A holds meeting, highlights burning demands | | | Early Times Report KATHUA, Oct 2: School Education Employees Co-Ordination Committee (SEECC-A) held a meeting to discuss the burning demands of teaching fraternity. The main demands discussed were constitution of departmental enquiry committee probing the violations of transfer policy in transfers of lecturers, masters, teachers in Jammu province, cancellation of all transfer orders of lecturers and masters done violating transfer policy, non- regularization of in charge joint director, CEF's, Principals, ZEO's, Lecturers and headmasters, non- adjustment of surplus lecturers, non-adjustment of lecturers adjusted against the posts of other subject since July 2015, modification of Lecturers, masters teachers adjustment of surplus masters, transfer policy for regularized ReT Teachers, rationalization of teaching staff in all schools, appointing all joint Directors from school education department as are appointed in the Health and medical education department and not from KAS cadre etc. Addressing the meeting Amar Nath Thakur State Chairman said that all principals, lecturers and masters serving in Leh and Kargil and other third zones have been transferred to their home districts and adjusted properly implementing the transfer policy in letter and spirit by commissioner Secretary but in Jammu division transfer policy has been totally violated. He said more than 750 lecturers and 3000 masters have been transferred on pick and chose basis, favourites' have been given prize postings, transfer industry was actively involved as in the past. More than 100 transfers of lecturers have been done at zero to zero level or within 2 to 3 Kmts. |
